This is organization is a trusted educational resource for millions of Lyme patients, and it also is a huge advocate for bringing public awareness and legislative change to the disease.
This private organization is a great resource that offers lists of books and education materials that can be downloaded directly from its site.
This organization is a little more scientific than the rest. Their site offers evidence-based treatment recommendations based on the latest research. They also hold conferences around the world for patients and medical professionals.
Not many people probably realize that Avril Lavigne has Lyme disease. She hopes to use her fame through music as a platform to provide awareness and resources for others with the disease. She has also partnered with Global Lyme Alliance and the Lyme Light Foundation.
We know how expensive healing can be and as moms, we love that this foundation is dedicated to provide grants to for children or young adults in the U.S. with Lyme disease to receive treatments and medicines.
This organization has contributed over $12 million for Lyme research to date. They have also partnered with Ionica Sciences to develop an accurate Lyme disease diagnostic test, which is super exciting considering we both spent almost a decade trying to figure out our symptoms.
This foundation operates in San Francisco, CA so if you live close it could be a great resource for you. They are working research and new testing that could help better diagnose Lyme in the future. They also do incredible community outreach to educate the public about prevention and general information about Lyme.

Formerly known as the DoD Human Tick Test Kit Program, this service is provided by the Laboratory Sciences Directorate at the Army Public Health Center located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
The Alex Hudson Lyme Foundation provides grants for Lyme warriors and founded by Jody Hudson, author of “My Promise to Alex”, written about her daughter’s fight with Lyme disease and MCAS.
