Lab Tests 101
IGENEX Lab President and Lab Director Dr. Jyotsna Shah is the EXTRA SPECIAL guest on this episode of Lyme Time. Find out the EXACT test you need to order and how to go about getting the best one that is right for you! Dr. Shah offers different price points and IGENEX will even test your tick and file papers for insurance just in case anything can be covered! Learn how accurate their tick borne disease testing is and what they all mean.
Is the ELISA test still current? Why can my test be negative and yet I still feel sick? If I finally feel great and the test still reads positive, what does that mean? What is the latest on pregnancy, birth, and Lyme disease? Can I test for Lyme even though my symptoms began years ago? Can I test to see what stage of Lyme I am in? What if I don’t have a lot to spend on testing, how do I choose which test? What do I do if my doctor does not use IGENEX tests and can the lab walk my doctor and I through the results?
I mean, I don’t know about you but this information is absolutely priceless in my book! The IGENEX website offers probably the most comprehensive guide to tests, ticks and lab work.
