Ravel Health is teaming up with The Tick Chicks
Affordable, virtual care for Lyme disease patients is finally here. Ravel Health and The Tick Chicks are teaming up to bring the power of the LLMD’s into your home via telehealth and we are very excited about this groundbreaking endeavor.
Ravel Health co-founders and fellow Lyme warriors Jaime Intile and Kevin Williams join Ali on the latest episode of the Lyme Time podcast to talk about exactly how Ravel works, how the process looks, and what the typical Lyme patient can expect.
Once you have filled out a brief onboarding form, Ravel will send you a choice of three providers based on your personal information. From there, the initial consultation is $395 (2 hours), and once established you can choose from 30, 60 or 90 minute (roughly $100, $200, and $300) doctor visits. Through their patient portal, additional 15 minute conversations with the provider are offered at $45 each. (As of September, 2024).
In addition, they can provide you with special discounts to help curb costs.
Ravel Health is currently (Sept. 2024) in 10 states and expanding to all 50 by the end of 2025. Pediatric Lyme, mold illness and complex chronic illness are also covered.
