While I was sick from Lyme, I often thought about what essential oils could do to help me get better. I found it very overwhelming, though, to navigate the essential oil landscape for some reason. Was I supposed to ingest, apply it to the skin, or breathe in the essential oil? I recently started diving into understand essential oils and am amazed by the benefits they offer. I apply oils to my body with an oil such as coconut oil through a roll-on applicator, I place several drops in my bath or shower, or I use a few drops to a diffuser to freshen up a room. I even found a few clinical trials that are researching the benefits essential oils can have on Lyme disease. The following are essential oils that are believed to help with Lyme disease:
